If you looked out the window during Jenny and James’ wedding, you would have seen torrents of rain. Sheets of it. It roared over the metal rooftop at Vista West Ranch and saturated the dry grass.
Texas, Memorial Day weekend, 2015. (It made national news.)
But if a touch of rain on your wedding day is good luck, Jenny and James held their wedding on the motherlode of auspicious days. They were wed safely indoors with their golden retriever Kobe as ring bearer; chowed down on East Side Kings and Tiny Pies; danced and dipped all night amid flickering lights.
The outpouring of love, the sweetness of family, the joy of friends, was palpable on this stormy May night.
