It’s so funny, how 160 miles can change the world you’re in. I moved from Houston to Austin ten years ago, and every time I travel back to Houston it feels like my other home. The air gets a little thicker, the streets get wider, and the nostalgia bursts come out in full force. Taylor and Ben wanted to have a Houstonian engagement session: we braved parking at the zoo, walked around Hermann Park, enjoyed the blossoms at the Japanese Gardens, and strolled around Rice with their pup, P. Seamus, before sunset. My favorite bit was shooting at the very edge of sundown in front of the Turrell Skyspace, Twilight Epiphany.
Here are a few of my favorite images from Taylor and Ben’s engagement session. Their 2016 wedding cannot come soon enough!
Aww these are so cute! I love everything about the first half- the brenizer, the bridge shots, her dress! Such a beautiful session!
