Amy’s 1930s-style glamour-cut gown, lavender tea rose centerpieces, and a ceremony in the little white chapel known as Mercury Hall, made her and Roland’s sweet wedding feel like an updated classic. And while the ceremony had to be moved inside due to rain, the sun came out for a tiny sliver of a moment, and we had some gorgeous portraits out in the back lawn.
As always, Greenbelt DJ brought the best tunes, and the party rocked all night until Roland and Amy were sent off with sparklers. Here are just a few of my favorite shots from this wedding.
Amy had this to say on Wedding Wire:
My husband did a pretty exhaustive search of photographers and found Elissa searching online. We both loved the style of her photographs and when we met her in person we loved her style, period! … What a wonderful choice we made! I cannot believe the gorgeous shots she got of us on our wedding day. It rained during our ceremony, but Elissa was relentless and found the most beautiful light for us at sunset and our pictures together after the ceremony are just stunning — they really do look like they belong in a magazine. I’ve never seen such beautiful pictures of anyone, much less myself! We cannot recommend Elissa highly enough…
