When I went into 2014 — rang in beautifully at midnight at a 2013 New Year’s Eve wedding — I wasn’t sure what to expect from the year. I traveled to Cabo, Marfa, and Montana for the first time; re-visited San Francisco, Los Angeles, Tulsa, and Japan; joined two book clubs; attended four different weddings for friends (as a guest) and shot 20 more; became addicted to lipstick; loved my husband and kitties harder than ever, and changed my hair color three times (lavender, pink, blue).
In past years, I separated my “best of” portraits from my “best of” weddings, but this year I just wanted to lump them all together. This is my 2014 — weddings, engagement sessions, a few peeks of boudoir, and personal travel, all sprinkled together into non-chronological, organized chaos.
Onward and upward. 2015, you have a lot to measure up to.
