guerilla wedding at the texas state capitol building

      Seven people, and myself, set up in a small alcove of the Texas Capitol Building to witness Caitlin and Tanner’s tiny, impromptu wedding. It was bitterly cold for Texas that New Year’s Eve — near freezing — so the couple scrapped their plans to exchange vows on the Capitol lawn and instead chose a spot on the third floor. The Capitol is not an official wedding space so there were no additional decorations (not that they needed any; the ornate building is full of character). And though people peeked at us curiously and took photos with their phones, for the most part Caitlin and Tanner were wed in quiet peace.

      This short and sweet pop-up wedding was a dream. I hope you like the few snippets I’m about to share…
