Eyes twinkling, Maeve snuggled up to Jesse and steered her nose close to his. They whispered conspiratorially together, and as I was looking at them through my viewfinder, her in a black sheath dress, he in a sharp grey suit, surrounded by the gold and white of olive & june’s interior, I was struck by how effortlessly classy they were. Maeve and Jesse chose their favorite restaurant as the backdrop for their engagement session, and they were so comfortable I let them steer the session. Which turned out to be an amazing idea, as you can see by the ensuing photos.
We finished our session at the Austin Greenbelt and it was pretty much perfect. I’m so excited about their brunch wedding in October. Maeve is a graphic designer so I can’t wait to see all the gorgeous touches at their Barr Mansion wedding!
Lovely session, ER. Your use of lighting and different surfaces = the best.
They look so comfortable and gorgeous!! Awesome work, Elissa, these are lovely!
the hotel shots are $$$
They are so adorable! I love this session. That last shot is particularly sweet!!
Such a cute couple. That final shot (reflection or a double?) is fantastic! Great thinking!
I love the one from above right after their outfit change – great job!
Whaaaat? That one image of her laying on him? That’s ridiculous, Elissa! And the double exposure? Stop it! Sooo good.
I love the reflection and the last photo is really beautiful.
Posh absolutely is the word for this session. I love it, and her sweet smile. And dood, that last shot? YES!!
Very creative and beautiful shots!

Great interaction and posing, well done.
Awesome!
Creative compositions and well done in capturing some intimate moments.
Such a sweet and lovely session. The light and connection between the couple is divine. Love the one of her resting on his leg!
So posh and classic Elissa! I love all of the artistic photos! My favorites are the first one and all of the restaurant photos. :)
