Happy holidays, all! I wanted to make the last blog post of 2014 memorable, so here is my friend Matt. Matt is one of those people who just reminds me of Austin. I met Matt around the same time I met my husband Walt; we were all coworkers at Amy’s. Over the years, even after we’d moved on to different jobs, Matt has been hanging around my house playing video games and drinking beer with Walt, so it wasn’t like we had lost touch. For his engagement session with Erin, we picked some very “Austin” locations: the Cathedral of Junk and the Greenbelt.

Amusingly, Matt and Erin live in San Antonio now as he goes through med school, and he and Erin are planning to get married in her home state of Minnesota — very different from our state capitol! Still, we had to represent, right?

I love these two. Erin is a perfect fit for Matt and his dry humor and sweet concern. I’m so happy that they’re getting hitched :) Here are a few of my favorites from our rainy Austin engagement session…
