The few times I’ve been to Barr Mansion, I think to myself that it looks like a painting. A sweet little house painted a happy mint green; beautiful light; Art Nouveau accents. Maeve, in her 1930s-inspired wedding gown and a sprinkling of buds tucked into her hair, set against the halo of spokes on the mansion’s balcony, reminded me of a Mucha drawing.
Maeve and Jesse (whose gorgeous Olive & june engagement session can be found here) had a brunch wedding on a warm October morning. I loved the pops of color in their palette — wine-red flowers in Maeve’s bouquet, her blue topaz earrings and necklace to complement the wedding ring, a pink shrug she knitted herself — set against the greenery of Barr Mansion. French toast made with baguettes, homemade jam, and mimosas rounded out the festivities. I want to hug this wedding. I hope you enjoy!

Love them all – but particularly that ceremony photo under the tree. Maeve & Jesse need to print that one out large in their home now!

The shot where he’s fiddling with the ring, and she’s bent over with laughter; amazing. Fantastic moment.
