This celebration was my last one of 2012, and it was amazing. It’s really hard to describe it to you, but I will try. Zilker Clubhouse is close enough to civilization to be easily found, but as you travel through the trees with the crunch of gravel under your tires, you feel like you’re leaving the world behind. The little clubhouse is at the top of a hill, and as you emerge onto the balcony, the Austin skyline is right there, clear as day. It was a cold December day, and Jackie wore her grandmother’s fur stole over her wedding dress. The inside of the Clubhouse was transformed with DIY touches, two crackling fires on opposite ends of the cabin, and tons of flowers by Petals Ink. And all the while, Jackie and Thomas were right next to each other, getting ready, making last-minute adjustments to their vows, and holding hands throughout the day. It was so obvious how much they are in love.
Jackie and Thomas had twenty or so of their friends and family at their intimate celebration, and after the ceremony they sat at one long table, toasted each other with champagne, and enjoyed their dinner by Pink Avocado.
I loved being a part of their day.
Such a cute cute cute wedding! I love the sweet moments you caught of them and her stole is the sweetest!
Very sweet couple! I love how you captured their closeness and affection. And yeah, the stole is awesome :)
