It’s always awesome when someone I actually know contacts me about wedding photography. Brynn and I went to high school together and asked if we could shoot her bridal portraits at Hamilton Pool Nature Reserve a few days before her wedding. “I don’t care about showing them off at the reception,” she said. “I just want some bad-ass fancy-pants photos of me in my wedding dress there!” So after Brynn flew down from Boston for her wedding week, she gathered two bridesmaids, her dress, a beaded headband created by her mother, a handmade cape necklace she’d worked on for 16 hours, and her hiking shoes, and we traipsed down to the natural pool. Not many people were around, so we had free reign to shoot all over the place. Brynn was awesome and trekked around in her Seychelles.
A few days later, she and Bryan got married. I can’t wait to share photos from that day with you, but for now, here is Fearless Brynn rocking it out.
Everyone should take awesome and fearless photos of themselves in their wedding dress. This is awesome! :)
Stunning bride, stunning work = great combination
Wow! These are gorgeous! Stunning work!
You killed it, lady. Nice work. And gosh, she’s stunning. What a beautiful set of portraits!

Love your creativity!
your BW are straight up drool worthy!
I can’t decide which I love more; the bubbles shot or the frame in front of what appears to be reflections from water. Great job!
Whuuuuuuuuuut the back of her dress is AWESOME!! Also, that last photograph makes me dizzy (in a good way). SUCH gorgeous work, Elissa!
Man oh man Elissa. Gor-to-the-geous!!!!!!
These shots are killer and that necklace/cape thing is amazing!

Awesome! You and Brynn should do fashion photography together.
I would beg her to do that with me if she lived in Austin. Alas, she is in Boston most of the time :(
Whoa Elissa these are so amazing! I love the blowing bubbles, the crazy prism or reflection (?) and that amazing black and white with the cliffs. So so good.
Aw man Elissa these very well may be my favourite work of yours. Each and every one of them is so unique. That far away black and white shot though – wow. Seriously, long distance high five.
Holy wow, Elissa. I love these!
