I loved meeting these two! It was amazing — Amanda and Gene and I were having so much fun shooting around downtown, and they were so sweet and excited about everything, that I tried a few new ideas I’d had bumping around in my head and really loved the results :) I hope y’all enjoy them too!

these are so beautiful and natural, elissa! love that ring shot, too.

That first shot is killer! Nice work.

Oh Elissa…these feel so sweetly intimate!

Such a cute couple.. I love how easy and flowing this whole engagement session is!

I’m digging the photo of them sitting on the steps.. sooo much.

Ohhh I just love #7. Very dreamy!

Great Set of photos, loved all the variety is shooting techniques!

Love the second to last photo on the stairs. Great composition!

I love that double exposure tree thing going on there.

Also, HOW are you always getting the perfect nighttime lighting? Awesome!

@Becca – Thank you, darling! It’s actually not a double exposure — I just used a reflective surface to mirror the sky. And that nighttime shot was actually taken way before sundown, by stopping down and using an off-camera flash :)

I love the relaxed and sweet feel of this whole session. It’s just like they were hanging out all day being cute and in love and you were there. so natural feeling.

This is a great set with well composed ideas.

Great use of the background and the natural leading lines in that second to last photo.

Thank you so much for these beautiful pictures, Elissa- we are so happy that we had the chance to work with you and are thrilled we have such gorgeous shots to remember our time in Austin with :)
