I was ecstatic when Kana inquired about her wedding, because she and Daniel were set on having a sweet ceremony and reception that was 100% theirs. Having met while hiking, Kana and Daniel chose to hold their wedding at the Zilker Botanical Gardens amidst the trees and rose gardens. She wore her mother’s wedding dress and hired Petals, Ink. to decorate their reception with flowers, since the couple loves nature so much. Kana told me she loved black & white photographs, so for their wedding I tried to think of all the photos that would look amazing in greyscale. It was a fun twist, and made their intimate and unique wedding even more special.
Kana and Daniel had their beautiful multicultural ceremony outdoors, and their reception was full of delicious food by Z Tejas, touching toasts, guests that had flown in from halfway across the world, and conversations in half a dozen languages. I loved being a part of their day.
Catering: Z Tejas
Florist: Petals, Ink.
Ceremony musician: Mr. Howard Rains
I am smitten with the photos from Kana and Daniel’s wedding. You have captured the peaceful, quiet love between this couple and their family and friends. What a beautiful service. Really loved the violinist with his two violins, the groom’s smile, the bride who was radiant, the last photo, of course, was priceless.
Good work, Elissa.
Aww. I like it.
So many gorgeous shots (oh my word – her bouquet!), but the one that got me most was them walking down the aisle after the ceremony. AH! love love love. Her hand over her mouth. Perfect capture of a beautiful moment.
This is such a sweet, sweet wedding <3
Nicely done, Elissa! Love the silhouette shot.
Great job, Elissa! I love the bride & groom shot of them in silhouette.
So sweet and pretty. That dress is amazing and love the sentimental connection that it was her mom’s!
This wedding is so naturally beautiful. Fantastic job Elissa!!
I love all the sweet details of this wedding, and I especially LOVE that last photo!
