Glimpses of my week –

It was a jam-packed week, full of driving, a wedding, a workshop, and illness. So. Few photos and more later :)

In-N-Out in Ft. Worth (I saw them make the fries… it was pretty awesome) – Ryan Brenizer showing us how it’s done – some of the Hunger Games nail polish by China Glaze!! (from left to right: Stone Cold, Luxe and Lush, Dress Me Up, Agro, Fast Track, and Harvest Moon)

I’m still thinking about what I took away from Ryan’s workshop so that post will happen later.

I know I talked about how much I didn’t care for the final book of the Hunger Games series, but the first book was amazing and I am waiting on pins and needles for the movie to come out. When I heard about the China Glaze line of HG nail polishes, I was verrry intrigued. When I saw a few swatches online, I knew I had to get my hands on some of the colors. Walt made fun of me for buying HG nail polish — “it’s not that I’m making fun of you for buying nail polish, it’s that you bought Hunger Games nail polish,” he said — but the colors are beautiful! I can’t wait to get Fast Track on my hands…

By the way, my new obsessions right now are Lana del Rey (make fun of me later) and Downton Abbey. And because I got into them at the same time, any time I hear Lana del Rey I end up thinking about Mary Crawley. It’s a bit weird.

You had me at In-N-Out! I love that place. What a fun time. I find it funny you talk about the Hunger games right after mentioning In-N-Out. Great post!

In N Out in Ft Worth? What a wonderful realization!

Oooooo I love the earthy tones of that nail polish! I may have to get some! :) Also – I have never had In’N Out Burger – but it looks amazing and I”m so hungry now!!!!

@Christy – The Hunger Games nail polish is based on the districts. If you’ve read HG it’ll make sense –
Stone Cold: District 2 (masonry) – it’s a matte graphite and I’m super excited about it
Luxe and Lush: District 1 (luxury) – a flakie top coat
Dress Me Up: District 8 (textiles) – before China Glaze changed the series to the districts, this was going to be Primrose’s color, so it’s a rosy pink
Agro: District 11 (agriculture) – metallic green
Fast Track: District 6 (transportation) – nude/beige/pink with gold flecks (LOVE)
Harvest Moon: District 9 (grain) – an orange/copper/gold-ish foil

In-N-Out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So jealous. I can’t wait to hear more about the workshop too!
