What can I say about Michelle and Rocky’s wedding besides “It was pretty much perfect”? I have a really soft spot in my heart for backyard weddings because that’s the type of wedding we had… so when Michelle told me that she and Rocky were planning on renting out a weekend at a ranch house in the Texas Hill Country and that she wanted to celebrate outside under a 400-year-old oak tree, I knew it was going to be special. The day was crisp and cold — amazing October weather. Michelle and Rocky’s ceremony was on a little bluff overlooking the Texas hills. Almost everything was sourced from friends and family, including handmade cupcakes by the groom’s sister and paper flowers and bouquets made by the wedding party. And because the couple is so Hunger-Games obsessed, they had an archery station set up next to the barn too. I’m so happy I was a part of this celebration! Here are a few photos from Michelle and Rocky’s amazing day.
