I had been looking forward to A Practical Wedding reader Lauren and Jared’s wedding for months and finally met them on their special day. Their ceremony was held indoors at the Southwest School of Arts and Crafts in San Antonio, with a magical cocktail hour full of sangria and tiny pastries next to the River Walk. As much as I like observing the first look and being a part of the couple’s emotional moments together, I think I’m becoming a sap for the wedding toasts. Lauren’s twin sister, Sam, gave one that was the perfect amount of amusing and touching, and I was this close to bawling.

It was a beautiful night in San Antonio. Here are a few of my favorite photos from Lauren and Jared’s wedding day.

Stunning – I love your use of light for the dancing – it brings so much of the environment in, but still keeps the focus on the (very energetic) people.
